One of Baltimore’s premier divorce attorneys, Julie Landau maintains a visible position in Maryland’s family law arena, where she has practiced for more than 30 years. Providing caring, personal representation with a knack for resolving complex financial issues and asset distributions, Julie’s practice focuses on all aspects of matrimonial and family law. If resolution outside of the courtroom cannot be achieved, her clients can depend on her for zealous representation at trial.

Julie astutely integrates her knowledge of business and tax law into her practice. A court-approved and experienced mediator and certified collaborative law professional. Julie supports the resolution of legal issues by alternative dispute resolution. Her credentials include teaching continuing legal education on litigation and strategy.

Many of Julie’s clients come to her in a difficult time and she effectively and efficiently helps them on many different levels. She has authored a substantial number of published articles and lectures on family law and related topics. AV-rated, the highest rating available from Martindale-Hubbell, speaks to the quality of representation Julie continues to provide her clients. Her clients’ recommendations and repeat representation exemplify the personal and professional connection that Julie builds with each representation.

Julie’s active involvement in several local philanthropic organizations evidences her commitment to helping the community as well as her clients. A member of the Equal Justice Council, Julie is committed to the right of low-income individuals to maintain quality legal representation. As a member of the Board of Directors of Maryland Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Julie is committed to furthering the mission of the foundation – to control and to cure cystic fibrosis – by sponsoring events and serving on the Executive Committee. She also currently is the chairwoman of the Parents Committee of the Stevenson University Stevenson Fund. In this role, Julie facilitates dialogue between parents and other community members to augment academic resources, facilities, computer resources, programs inside and outside the classroom, etc. through annual support of Stevenson University.

A passionate and committed volunteer, Julie gets this important message out in the same manner that she advocates on behalf of her clients’ best interests.
